You can find a variety of photos on the Internet where golf simulators are beautifully integrated into a living landscape. These are usually just very nicely made photo montages. In reality, golf simulators (due to the required height of over 3 meters and the resulting noise) are usually not found in the living area, but in the basement, in the attic, in a garage, in a warehouse, or in a specially constructed building.
